Quite a crazy amount of you guys have visited me from Chirault today! Thanks, guys. For those of you who didn't come visit me from Chirault, I highly recommend it. Gorgeous hand-drawn art, little people, demons... if you're looking for a shorter read, I recommend popping by and starting to read here and read her currently running mini comic about Astrid the Mage. (I personally headcanoned the name 'Magic Shenanigans', so there ya go.)
And if you've browsed my links page you've probably visited Twilight Lady but just in case you haven't already, here's another pimp. Especially if you haven't visited in the last year or so, because Twilight Lady has switched from being a 3D comic to pretty sleek 2D art. I recommend jumping in at the current storyline because there's a lot of reading and you might as well get to the current stuff sooner than later.
Twilight Lady is a supernatural comic about the Lady... a nameless, godlike woman. Great if you like a good urban fantasy/supernatural read. If you like, say, Simon R. Green's stuff you'll love this.
Original page. Most of my time was spent reworking Re-Imean-Mosgred. I skipped an hour of sleep for this; I tend to feel more inspired when I know I'll be screwed over the next day. Yeah. Wooo.
You might notice there's been a tiny change in the sidebar: there's another upcoming comic and one of the pages is already done! The comic is called Fate, and it's along the lines of Those Who Favor Fire... another Maldlahin origin, of a sort. I genuinely hope to have TWFF done before I attend Animethon in August (I'll be in Artist Alley so on the off chance that you'll be in Edmonton on the 10th-12th of August drop by and see me!) as well as Fate. So Fate will run after the convention, assuming I've finished TWFF, and from there... well, guys, gals, and anthromoporphic toasters... I'm not done yet.
It's just, it took me from 2008 until a lot of angst to realize I wanted to tell Rease's story, and I haven't set up to tell her story here. I plan to do the final chapter for Between Places (or chapters) to tie off subplots, and then book three will double back and tell the story I wanted to tell, through the eyes it's supposed to be through. But I feel like I'm not doing the story justice by not wrapping up the last few ends here, and so, I hope that the next thing I run after the two minis will be the final chapter/s of Between Places, to bring the group back together. Thanks for reading, and thanks for visiting. Rest assured that the hiatuses are not the hiatuses of someone who's given up. :)
