It's just after midnight...   -  December 3, 2009   -   0051

...And I can't do my update. I could, I mean, if I stayed up for another two or three hours which ordinarily wouldn't be a problem. I mean, it's not even a hard page and I have some of it already done... probably an hour and a half if I pushed it... however, the problem is that every ten minutes I have to run and sit down with my head between my knees for five minutes while feeling a mixture of gassy, crampy, dizzy, nauseated, and kind of remotely like someone took my centre of balance, and then put it approximately one foot to the left of my head. And then dropped robots. In my stomach. Where they are attempting to mine the lining of my stomach and intestines. So probably vampire robots. Who... feed on... indigestion. I guess. Every time I burp I'm worried I'm going to puke; having Pepsi while feeling like this was NOT A GOOD IDEA. Suffice it to say I'm worried that sitting here I'm going to vomit on my keyboard. I feel it would be more productive to go to bed and do the update in the afternoon, provided I feel signifigantly better and seeing as right now my stomach is trying to turn itself inside out GOODNESS THAT HURTS... I think there's probably... ugh... I AM GOING TO LIE DOWN RIGHT NOW gah that hurts. If I feel better in the afternoon there will be an update--I guess I'm sick, two of my brothers have been sick, one two days ago and one today yesterday whatever... they live in the next room so I guess I'm next on the docket and gahh... now I feel a bit mean for making the one do dishes feeling like this... but only a little bit. Ddthggh. Ow. Ow. Ow. Okay. Going now. Augh. I haven't had a stomach flu since I was... hm. It's been a while. Last winter I got carsick but that wasn't really the same... LEMME TELL YOU, IT SUCKS AND YOU DON'T WANT TO DRAW WHEN YOU'RE FEELING LIKE THIS ALSO APPARENTLY A SYMTOM IS EXCESSIVE VERBROSITY AND ALL CAPS AND UH, no paragraph breaks.

By the way, SpiderForest is open for business! Check it out if you're looking for a webcomic collective. We rock.

NOVEMBER CAN'T BE OVER ALREADY! NOOO!   -  December 1, 2009   -   0341

NINE panels? No wonder this freakin' page took so long!In the pencils, I just had the three middle panels of Saerin and the two underlaid ones--they were reversed in the original pencils. Man, this page changed a lot from the pencils. It took forEVER... which is hella annoying when the page in question is really just a split second moment. I actually like it, though... but to be fair, I actually like this whole scene. Changed up my vote incentive to kick off the month, as usual... finished up Nanowrimo with a 76k novel and a 50k novel, and a couple shorter bits to try get another start down.

Spiderforest is now open for new applications! If you're reading this and you've got a comic you think would fit in with the current lineup (or bring something new and exciting to the table) I totally encourage you to check it out and consider applying. My collective/host is rocksome and you should absolutely check it out and give it a shot.
