EDIT: This page is reduxed as of July 31st! Old page:

First off, there's a new vote incentive. And not even you've seen this one yet, J! >.>

Second off, this is also an original page, and I have not edited the last page yet due to the whole trying not to die thing, but I will let you guys know via a new news post when I've switched the pages out for the new art.

And thirdly, we're starting the oh so amazing SPIDERFOREST COMIC OF THE WEEK again! (jazzhands)

The comic of the week is Kez's War of Winds.
It's a really long fantasy (mostly) epic and the current storyline appears to involve manipulating hurricanes with the power of magic, which is good enough of a reason for me to be recommending it. Kez does some great infinite canvas type art that really doesn't hold to the conventions of "comic design" but work very well to tell her story. It's developed a lot from the beginning into a comic stuffed full of magic badassery, cars falling into portals into other universes, and all sorts of stuff like that.

War of Winds was the first SpiderForest comic I ever read, and it was a banner on that comic with EYES STARING AT ME that encouraged me to apply to SpiderForest so I have a bit of a fondness for it there too. Kez also has a post-apo martial arts badassery comic called What it Takes, which I pimped in the last comic of the week run.

What can I say, I'm pretty dead right now. If you're interested in an archive dive into a world stuffed with mythology and magic, and shiny stuff, read it!
