My dear friend distracted me with this strange thing called SOCIAL ACTIVITY... <3 <3 I need some of it occasionally... weird thing that it is... so anyway, I'll be painting the page tomorrow (Monday). I did do the backgrounds and flats but I'm just too tired to finish it tonight. So instead I did really rough sketchy pencils and script for the next ten pages. Since not having pencils is one of the reasons I've really been slowed down, this should help. It includes a flashback sequence that I initially sketched several months ago as an alternate beginning to Between Places (and it probably works way better for that, really) but it fit in nicely now and quite frankly, I'm never going to find the time to redo the comic so I might as well give you the scene now anyway. =( There are a few scenes I did pencils for and one that I even did flats and text for that never made it into the final draft... but this is one I feel helps a little bit and ties things back to the beginning, which is good, because I got sidetracked. Like I am now. I'm going to sleep like I've never slept before and then hopefully page will be up for Tuesday (it's a double page spread so it's taking longer anyway!) and then I'll try do another one on Tuesday so there'll be a Wednesday/Thursday update.
